Teri Jetter, MS, OTR/L,

Director Of Sensory Solutions

Teri graduated from San Jose State University’s Occupational Therapy Masters of Science Program in 1995. She has completed extensive continuing education and training in the areas of integration of sensory and motor systems, sensory regulation, oral motor development, visual processing, ocular motor development, fine motor, gross motor development, feeding challenges, and handwriting techniques. Professionally, Teri has nearly 20 years of pediatric experience providing intervention and consultation in private clinic settings, school-based settings and in-home settings. Teri has a special interest in building relationships with kids and their families and providing much needed support, resources and education to families.

Kirsi Niva, MS, OTR/L

Kirsi received her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy in Finland in 1999. She has lived in the Bay Area since 2006 and graduated from San Jose State University’s Occupational Therapy Masters of Science Program in 2011. Kirsi has worked at Sensory Solutions since 2016. Kirsi has worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Delays, Down Syndrome, ADHD, and sensory processing difficulties. She has continuing education and training in the areas of sensory integration, therapeutic listening, feeding therapy, and pediatric yoga. She has continued education and training in the areas of sensory integration, self-regulation, Floortime, therapeutic listening, executive function, visual perception, and feeding therapy. Kirsi is caring and very passionate about working with children and their families. She strongly believes in play-based occupational therapy, teamwork, and collaboration with families. In her free time, Kirsi enjoys traveling, watching ice hockey, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Meghan Rabello, MS, OTR/L

Meghan was born and raised in Los Gatos. She received a B.A. in Marketing from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX in 2008 followed by a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University in 2013. She has a passion for working with children and collaborating with families, caregivers and other therapeutic professionals to support participation and meaningful change. Her professional experience has spanned a variety of pediatric diagnoses and settings including hospital, schools, early-intervention, CCS medical therapy unit, and private clinics. She also has advanced training in areas of sensory processing, reflex integration, hippotherapy, mindfulness and pediatric yoga. Meghan believes in the importance of a child-centered approach using play as a therapeutic tool to support development and participation. Aside from her career, she loves spending time with her husband and two young sons, hiking, fly fishing, concerts, and reading a good book!

Haruka Gosi, MS, OTR/L

 Haruka received her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in England in 2022 and has joined the Sensory Solutions in 2023. Her OT fieldwork consists of school and clinic-based pediatrics, oncology orthopedic, acute stroke, and mental health wards in London. Prior to becoming an OT, she received her bachelor’s degree in Child Development with the focus in early childhood education and was a preschool teacher for 10 years. During her teaching career, she gained skills in fostering emotional regulation and social skills, classroom management, and parent education. Haruka always knew she would like to work with children as she believes happy children bring great joy in this world. Her goal is to help children reach their potential and satisfaction in their skill sets through play and achievable challenges. In her free time, Haruka enjoys visiting the Sierras, rock climbing, field archery, camping, and reading at a local cafe.

Katie Hart OTD, OTR/L

Katie received her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy in 2021 from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT.  She is the newest addition to Sensory Solutions, but has been involved with the clinic since 2018, completing observation hours, Level 2 Fieldwork and her Capstone this past year.  Katie has always had a passion working with children of all ages from infants to Maternal Health, volunteering in the NICU, obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Art Education and completing a Doula certification. She aims to provide compassionate, client-centered care to help her clients achieve their goals through a playful, collaborative experience. Katie loves to paint pet portraits during her free time, take road trips, explore the outdoors and soak up with sun with her boyfriend, cat, dog, and two bearded dragons! 

Olivia Griswold M.Ed.

Olivia was born and raised in Saratoga. She attended school in San Luis Obispo and received her Teaching Credentials and Director Site Supervisor Permit from the State of California. Olivia received her B.A. in Child Development, and her Masters in Special Education, with emphasis in Sensory Integration, from San Jose State University. Over the years Olivia has spent time working in the preschool, teaching first and second grade, as well as working one-on-one with families and their children with special needs. Olivia is passionate about providing families with support when transitioning their child into kindergarten, as well as providing guidance during other transitions. Olivia is excited to bring her expertise as an early education specialist to join forces with our OT team to support Sensory Solutions' families as a co-leader of our therapeutic group for preschool aged children and as a consultant to support parents with school placement, in-classroom strategies, and school push-in services. Along with teaching, Olivia works with horses, training teams and individuals in Equestrian Vaulting. This sport has taught her the balance of patience, teamwork, and positive approaches, which she has been able to apply to her everyday life. 

Sarita Murkes - Office Administration

Sarita joined the Sensory Solutions team in mid-2021. As an office assistant, she keeps clinic operations running smoothly and efficiently. She is a vital part of our day-to-day process and inevitably will be in touch with each of our OT families on several occasions during their time with us. Sarita earned her Master's in Business Administration from ESADE, Barcelona, Spain, in 2003. She and her family moved to the Bay Area in 2014, where she has spent time volunteering at her sons' schools and BSA troops. She loves to read books, explore California's hills and forests, and learn about world history and cultures.
